TAKATA AIRBAG INFLATOR RECALL

A global recall of Takata airbags affects a number of vehicle manufacturers, including certain BMW models produced between 1999 and 2015.

In the event of an accident, the airbag’s gas generator may create excessive pressure when deployed. This can cause metal fragments to be released inside the vehicle, posing a potential safety risk.

Please check on your customer’s behalf by using our VIN checker site for all Recalls and Campaigns.
