Arrived for a recent service and MOT that I booked a month in advance to be told there was no record of it, Therefore could not use the car for five days.
The service at North Oxford Garage has always been excellent. The staff are all veryhelpful and knowledgeable. The product is superb.

Mark was very courteous, helpful & professional. Reason for 4 stars is that I needed 2 new tyres to pass MOT, BMW quote £220/tyre for a 1 series, Merityre Abingdon £150 a tyre, I wonder how many people wouldn't question it?

I went to have my service indicator reset, normally done for free and takes 2 mins. They wanted to book the car in for an appointment and charge £29.00!! My experience is some of the service desk team try hard and are helpful, others are ambivalent

My car was in the garage for 1 week I experience extremely poor an incompetent service and my vehicle was damaged while in BMW garage North Oxford. l eventually dealt with Alister Lord who resolved a number of the problems, and was generally helpful
Car returned with all previous radio settings lost and with the service alert still popping up every time I start the car
I gave a short list of issues with the new car for its first service: one of the key ones "squeaky drivers window" has not been resolved despite being assured that it had been. Neither has the searing hot temperature of the heated seats
Did what was asked.
I went into North Oxford to get my car checked out there one only one services rep working. He was also working behind the scene in the workshop. He explained that he was the only one working and the reason for the delay in seeing me.
All went well
the state that the car was handed back was just not up to bmw standard everything that was in the boot had been taken out and just thrown back in the front seat was put in a position that you could not get in it the car
The car was fine when it came in for brake fluid. Afterward, the manifest stated that the wash bottle had been topped up. Next morning it was empty. Water poured in ran straight onto the road. The car had to come back for another day. INCONVENIENT.
Reception was efficient. Over 3 weeks lead in is too long to book service given I took the first available slot.
I have always found North Oxford BMW excellent, but on this occasion found it difficult to make an appointment for the car to be repaired following advice from the BMW Assist.

I left the car at the garage and the service should have been completed by 3 pm. It took 2 hours longer than planned. Everyone was very helpful, I sat drinking coffee and didn't have any time constraints, it wasn't a large problem, so only 4 stars.
Was told at time of booking 1st service it would take 1 hour 30 minutes . I was actually waiting for a total of 3 hours. This was unacceptable. I was not kept informed of why it was taking so long . I had expected a better customer based service.
Longer wait than expected when collecting car. Whilst my allocated service person was busy, others were free.
I have been both a sales and maintenance customer of North Oxford BMW continuously for the last 17 years, and never had a complaint about either the products or services, including my last visit.
The people on the desk are like robots - they smile, but don't do what they say they will. Also, Since being told you will charge me £90 to simply tell me what was wrong with the car- I have now sought and found a brilliant independent BMW specialis
I was given a date and time when I could have a new tyre fitted. When I arrived for the fitting I waited over an hour before being told that the tyre had not been delivered. I had to return a few days later. The round trip from my home is 40 miles.
Very helpful staff, could see it was a busy moment when picking car up so staff were pushed
They did a good job setting things up and keeping me informed during the service. The only downside was that I had to return the car to have an air filter housing rattle fixed that I find hard to believe the technician could not hear, it was loud.
The MOT was completed in a reasonable time and the waiting room was comfortable and the facilities were good.
Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff always very welcoming. Issue with the car was identified quickly and remedied without delay.

Part not ordered upon arrival for repair, came back 5 hours later and wrong part ordered.Lost days wages and had to lose another day to bring car back for repair.
On 27th April i took my car in for service and was advised that i needed a diagnostic check for the two engine management lights on the display. On the drive home the lights came back on. I have telephoned North Oxford Garage twice with no reply
it was surprising that no discs & Pads available at the garage whilst obtained same day and fitted. also an air filter was fitted whilst not needed, this came from some confusion could have been clarified with a phone call. not a complaint.

Routine brake fluid change
My problem was satisfactorily taken care of in a professional and friendly manner, with an additional tio on my iDrive system.
Cramped due to shared site, unfriendly service adviser, missed on limit rear tyres, oil on rear parcel shelf.
Quick and cheap. Was kept up to date on progress.
Car in the garage for three weeks. No regular updates, if called no one would call back. When the car was ready we were hassled to find out when we would be collecting it(10 missed calls and emails) and we we did go the car/paper work wasn't ready
Very Happy with work done. Having been told MOT was finished and car was awaiting cleaning I waited a further hour before going to collect. Car was not cleaned and advised it would be a minimum of another hour to clean. So I took car as it was.
Having been a customer for the last 3 years I have seen a complete change of the service in the past 2 years, particularly since MINI started sharing the centre.My car went in for a service for the day, it was not washed and no phone call with update
Quite a delay before Could book the car in for repair. I picked the car up the following day (too late on the day) I told another fault had been found .Has to book it again for week later. No paperwork other than receipt for £100 warranty excess.
came in for air con tests. Garage did not have gas. Had to make a further appt.Had same part replaced 1 year ago. broken again!
I booked my car in for a MOT for 13:30. I did not leave the garage till 17:00This is a stupid amount of time for an MOT especially when everything was fine with the car.Apparently the garage lost my keys, my mum was unwell so wanted to get home.
When I arrived my car was not booked in for the work I had booked. I left the car feeling unsure that the work would be completed and felt the service receptionist was completely uninterested.
A software update was installed to fix an exhaust rattle issue. I found this strange at the time and was not unsurprised when it didn't cure the problem when I started the car the next morning. I've now found the cause and will get it fixed myself.
I was told to drop my car off at 8am but the service department didn't open until 8:30!!
been customer here for over 20 years and for good reason, they are awesome! Really they are - have 3 kids and a busy international business, I don't have time to mess with rubbish garages, 60% of the decision to by BMW is based on SERVICE NOT PRODUCT

Good cusdtomer care
First time I used this garage, but at it was close to work and my local dealer was booked up for over a month I got a warranty repair (air con not working) done by NOG. It was very easy to book and excellent service was provided throughout!
Service was excellent the only minor niggle was that they missed the mirror glass when cleaning the car.

James from service did everything in his power to make a difficult situation smooth. Although BMW didn't make the repair because of warranty issues - I was still made to feel like a valued customer and I will return when I have issues.

Confusion about progress changes: work done should have been included in warrant and was charged. Only by fluke of a second service advisor responding to my question did this come to light. Also the need for service was flagged late.
Winter wheel change took almost three hours. It should have only taken 1 hour, but due to volume of cars there was a delay for car washing. Will opt out if the wash next time.

The experience on the day at the garage was good, but after that I had to chase for updates and in the first instance took over 4 hours to return my call.After I then received my car back at 10.45 PM with no notification.

15 minutes wait to book in my car. After the service, no paperwork or record of service details was given to me or left in the car.The service also included recall work. Again no paperwork was given or left detailing what was fixed for the recall.
Attempted to call the service desk but they were busy. Left a message for them to call me back but no one returned my call.

I was not contacted to say my car needs a service - I was told I would. The service took longer than anticipated. My car display says I need another service in 3200 miles - clearly set up wrong.
On arrival I was asked to sit in the coffee area to wait and told I would be called over when an adviser to become available. Unfortunately I was forgotten about and not called over. I had to remind him that I was still waiting to book my car in.
This was just a MOT and all was well.

I felt that a number of my concerns were not addressed and I was not informed as to any outcome! Upon asking how long the service would take, I was told 1.5 hours so I opted to wait, it took 3.5 hours! I was very bored!
I was informed there was a nail in my offside rear tyre, so I drove to a tyre garage they removed the wheel & examined the tyre, but there was no trace of any nail.I came back to BMW for an exclamation but none could be given.

When dropping of keys was originally told to wait for someone else who was looking after me, but was busy. I asked why he couldn't just take my keys?!? Strange system.
Staff looking busy but not doing much, I eventually got served, Asked for cost estimate for work, was promised next day email. Got an incomplete cost analysis 5 days later through the post.
Always satisfied with services at BMW NO. Arrived over an hour before my appointment and I was still fitted in early and work was completed just 15 minutes after my actual booking time.

The service on the car did everything I expected. I took 0.5 off simply because I had to wait 20mins to hand my key over!
1 when I came to collect my car, there was no system in place to receive customers in turn and I was kept waiting at least 30 minutes without anyone taking an interest.2 I was advised I needed a replacement fuel cap and would be contacted. Nothing.
The time taken to undertake the work was unreasonably long. When I booked it in I was told it would be 1 hour. When I left the car with a service adviser I was told it would be 2 hours. In the end it was nearly 3 hours before the car was ready.

I was offered a diagnostic check at £90 which I declined but charged £50 for the check anyway. I mentioned a yellow service symbol on dashboard which needed cancelling, but wasn't.
I was happy with the service, but never give full marks as there will always be some room somewhere for improvement.
Work (inc brake fluid service) completed on time; fault in air conditioning diagnosed correctly and remedied. Service staff as usual very courteous.

Lauren was exceptional helpful In organising the service and the repairs on my car - allowing for a diagnostic on a Saturday. she informed me with all the relevant details and held the car for me for a couple of days when I was unable to pick it up.
Warm welcome upon arrival, directed to a service manager. My vehicle was needed back by midday and I received a call mid morning advising the car was ready. Full verbal report was given to me. Car had been cleaned inside and out. Superb service!

The service advisor didn't seem aware of my booking a hire car, then didn't know I had an account, then said it wouldn't take long and why had I bothered with a hire. Promised to call me later, but didn't. Car wasn't washed or cleaned.
The condition of the interior was of concern ....... there were grease marks on the rear off-side passenger seat

When booking was made I was advised the service would take 90 minutes. So rather than organising collection I drove to garage for an 8:30 appointment. The car was reading at 11:50. Which resulted in me sitting within the garage for over 3 hours.

The service was fine. But two weeks later discovered that an MOT hadn't been done at the same time (like last year) - no reminder - unable to fit me in - had to go elsewhere to get it done urgently. Can't believe you don't have a system in place.

Car not washed and vacuumed (which in the past it has been) when I picked it up. This was an expensive service at over £500, and the car was left with the garage for the whole day, despite the service only taking half a day.
The prepaid service was fine.This was the 2nd time though that had I described a scream and squeal from the rear wheels when simply getting in and out of the car. I was told it was handbrake associated and I wasn't using the car enough.. NOT HAPPY

I was completely satisfied with the service that I received when I took my car in for it's MOT.
Was greeted and asked to wait until a service advisor was available. Asked someone after 25 mins who was going to "check it out". Finally after 45 mins found my service advisor who hadn't been told I was waiting.

my wife asked for a new car on friday had an appointment 2 days later with the sales man gareth ,had a choice of 5 cars chose and bought 1 collected the car 2 weeks later ,unlike audi who wanted 3 to 5 months hence the change to BMW
It would of been completely satisfied but there was a lack of communication from the sales guy, this was quickly rectified once they were made aware.
Adrian Earp (my sales consultant) talked me through all my options and patiently answered all my questions. He also made me feel at ease during the test drive which was great as I was really nervous having only driven 1 car for 11 years!
